18 & 18 ½ King Street
|
This 2 ½ story house is just one example of the eclectic Queen Anne Style and it features a distinguishing corner turret and large front porch.
John Black, a pattern-maker, was the earliest known owner of this home that was built around 1849. William McGowen, a moulder, was also a resident during this time. In the mid-1900s, it would become home to the Mastrella-Prince family. The Prince family financially supported the Habitat for Humanity rebuild of 6 North Madison Street in 2004. |
